Cardient® TiX is a supercrystalline titanium oxide coating that exposed to UV light remains photocatalytic for several hours and causes hydrogen bonds to break, leading to a breakdown of biological material. The released hydrogen radicals kill bacteria and germs, so the surface becomes germ free. If the surface is also made hydrophilic it is easy to clean with water.
