Nitinol (Nickel - Titanium Naval Ordinance Laboratory) has besides excellent biocompatibility, flexibility and kink resistance two unique characteristics: Superelasticity and Shape Memory. This is the reason why Nitinol has become an important material in medical device industry.

Ni-Ti Tubes, located in Fremont, California, USA, specialises on the customisation of Nitinol tubing and wire with tight tolerances. Outer diameters range between 0,254mm (0.01") and 7mm (0,275"). Moreover, Ni-Ti Tubes offers its customers a metallography test laboratory for macroetching, AF tests, grain size determination, surface and tensile evaluation.

Ni-Ti's engineers have over 30 years experience in the medical device industry and look forward to supporting you in technical questions. The manufacturing process allows for short lead times, less than two weeks for custom tubing.
